The Blum 79B3450 is a specialised CLIP top BLUMOTION concealed hinge for −45° Type III maximum-overlay angled-cabinet applications. It is designed for cabinet fronts that angle inward, while the maximum-overlay hinge arm provides increased door coverage over the cabinet side.

A 110° opening angle provides practical access to the cabinet. Integrated BLUMOTION slows the door during closing for smooth, controlled movement and can be switched off on an individual hinge when less damping is required.

Screw-on cup drilling

The hinge requires a 35mm cup hole drilled 13mm deep. Its two screw-fixing positions are arranged on 45mm centres, with the fixing line positioned 9.5mm from the centreline of the hinge cup. Blum specifies a drilling distance of 3–7mm.

Mounting-plate selection

A compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate is required and sold separately. Blum's current planning information for the −45° Type III application, application number 27, specifies a 3mm mounting plate such as 173H7130.

Final selection must be checked against the actual door thickness, cup-drilling position, cabinet dimensions and required overlay before production drilling.
