Preparing for the New Year
This could be anything from making sure that you have the right equipment to ensuring that you have used the right treatment process but at Hart Wholesale we are always here to help.
Got All Your Equipment?
This may seem like the most obvious thing to take care of but it is one of the most important. After you have had a decent break from Christmas it can be quite difficult to get back into the swing of things. As such it is very common for tradesmen to forget some of their essential tools or equipment when they go to their first job back from the Christmas break.
Therefore one easy way to make sure that you are fully prepped for the day or week ahead plan everything the night before and make sure that you have anything you need as this will increase efficiency in the job and it will make you feel more comfortable when you are working.
Plan Your Approach Thoroughly
Going back to work after you have had a long break can be quite daunting and tiring which can lead to mistakes being made (it’s okay we’ve all been there). However working in the trade industry is one place where you don’t want to lose focus as it could put both you and your client’s lives in danger.
One way you can prevent this is to plan your approach to the job carefully and thoroughly as this will ensure that you have covered every possible avenue meaning that you can maintain your - and the client’s - safety. Make sure that within this plan you have as much sleep as possible so that you are fully awake and ready for the job in question.
Assess Your Client’s Home Properly
The harsh weather can be incredibly harmful to certain areas of your client’s home such as damp spots in the corner of the rooms wallpaper peeling off in various places and cracks in the ceiling.
As such it is of vital importance to make sure that you properly assess your client’s home thoroughly; this means going from top to bottom around every corner of the home as you want to make sure that your clients are safe in their home as opposed to dealing with mouldy walls and ceiling that can eventually cause illness.
Once you have taken these into account you will be fully prepared for the jobs ahead in the new year. Always make sure that you get enough rest beforehand so that you can carry out your jobs to the highest quality as you want to ensure the safety of yourself your colleagues and your clients.
