The Blum 71B7590 CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge combines an exceptionally wide 155° opening angle with integrated soft closing, zero-protrusion movement and tool-free INSERTA hinge-cup fixing.

Designed for full-overlay cabinet doors, its zero-protrusion geometry is particularly useful for cabinets containing internal drawers, pull-out shelves, wire baskets or larder fittings. When correctly planned, the open door is carried clear of the cabinet's internal working width so pull-outs can travel forward without striking it.

The premium Onyx Black finish discreetly coordinates with dark cabinets, black mounting plates and contemporary furniture interiors.

Integrated BLUMOTION soft closing

BLUMOTION is built directly into the hinge, providing smooth and controlled closing regardless of the door's closing speed. No separate soft-close adapter is required.

The BLUMOTION function can be deactivated using the switch on the hinge. This can be helpful on smaller or lighter doors where fewer active dampers may provide better closing performance.

Door-thickness and opening-angle guidance

The unrestricted 155° configuration is intended for doors from 20mm to 24mm thick. Doors up to 31mm may be possible when the compatible Blum 92° opening-angle stop is installed. The stop reduces the maximum opening angle, so the hinge will no longer open to 155°.

Door thickness, drilling distance, overlay and mounting-plate height must be checked during planning. A trial installation is recommended for unusual overlays, mitred doors or cabinets positioned immediately beside a wall.

Important ordering information

This product is supplied as one complete hinge. The INSERTA hinge cup and integrated BLUMOTION mechanism are part of the hinge. The CLIP mounting plate, opening-angle restrictor and decorative cover caps are sold separately.
