The Blum 70T7590.TL CLIP top hinge is a wide-angle, full-overlay cabinet hinge designed for handleless cabinets containing internal drawers, pull-out shelves or larder fittings. Its 155° opening angle provides excellent access, while the zero-protrusion geometry is designed to carry the open door clear of the cabinet’s internal working width.

This is the unsprung, free-swing version intended for use with a separate Blum TIP-ON door unit. Pressing the closed door activates TIP-ON and releases it outwards, while the unsprung hinge allows the door to open without resistance from a conventional closing spring.

Finished in contemporary Onyx Black, the hinge coordinates with dark cabinets, black mounting plates and premium handleless furniture.

With an ordinary wide-angle hinge, part of the open door can remain inside the cabinet opening and obstruct an internal drawer or pull-out. Tool-free INSERTA and CLIP installation

The INSERTA hinge cup secures into the prepared door drilling without conventional fixing screws. The hinge arm then connects to a compatible mounting plate using Blum’s tool-free CLIP mechanism. This enables fast installation and allows the door to be removed and refitted without disturbing the mounting plate.

A compatible Onyx Black CLIP mounting plate must be ordered separately. The required plate height and drilling position depend on the cabinet construction and desired overlay.

Door-thickness and opening-angle guidance

The standard 155° configuration is intended for door thicknesses from 20mm to 24mm. Doors up to 31mm may be possible when the hinge is fitted with the compatible Blum 92° opening-angle stop. The stop reduces the maximum opening angle, so the hinge will no longer open to 155°.

Door thickness, overlay, drilling distance and mounting-plate height must be checked during planning. A trial installation is recommended for unusual overlays, mitred doors or cabinets installed directly beside a wall.
