The Blum 71B9680 is a nickel-plated CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge designed for thick and profiled cabinet doors in a dual, commonly called half-overlay, application. Its cranked hinge arm allows two doors to be fitted to opposite sides of the same central cabinet partition.

The hinge opens to 95° and incorporates Blum's BLUMOTION soft-close mechanism for smooth, controlled door closing. Its knock-in 35mm hinge cup uses pre-fitted dowels for fast and repeatable workshop assembly into a correctly prepared drilling pattern.

The correct mounting-plate height and drilling position must be selected according to the required overlay, door thickness, edge profile and clearance throughout the 95° opening movement.

Knock-in hinge-cup fixing

The knock-in cup has pre-fitted dowels that are pressed into two correctly drilled 8mm holes beside the 35mm hinge-cup recess. This provides a consistent fixing arrangement without separate cup-fixing screws.
