1829 × 51 × 1.2mm Self-Colour Brass Piano Hinge

This medium-duty brass piano hinge, also known as a continuous hinge, measures 1829mm long and 51mm wide when fully open. It is manufactured from 1.2mm-thick brass with a natural self-colour finish.

The 1.2mm leaf is the lightest thickness within this medium-duty group. Compared with light-duty piano hinges, it provides increased firmness, greater rigidity and capacity for larger fixing screws while retaining a relatively slim profile.

The countersunk fixing holes are produced in line in opposing pairs at 101.6mm centres and accept No.6 woodscrews. The hinge has a 3.3mm-diameter pin and 25.4mm knuckle length. The previous "3.25 knuckle" wording was inaccurate.

Supplied as one complete 1829mm hinge length. It may be professionally cut to a shorter required length using suitable brass-cutting equipment. Cutting can alter the final hole positions and leave a sharp unfinished edge.
