The caps fit over the lift-mechanism housings on the cabinet sides, concealing the mechanism body and cabinet-side installation for a neat finish. They do not cover the telescopic arms and do not alter the lift's movement, power factor or adjustment.

Blum part 20F8020 belongs to the original AVENTOS HF bi-fold system in its standard mechanical configuration. It is not an AVENTOS HF top cover set. HF top uses different 22-series cover caps and must not be treated as interchangeable.

For legacy AVENTOS HF with SERVO-DRIVE, Blum specifies the separate 21F8020 cover-cap set. That version includes a SERVO-DRIVE cover, right cover, branding elements, switches and distance bumpers. Do not use the standard 20F8020 description for that electrical configuration.

Fitting guidance

1. Confirm the mechanisms are standard legacy AVENTOS HF, not HF top or SERVO-DRIVE.
2. Confirm that light grey is the required cabinet-interior colour.
3. Identify the handed left and right covers.
4. Fit each cap to its corresponding mechanism housing following Blum instructions.
5. Fit the two branding elements in their specified positions.
