Blum TANDEM TIP-ON 550mm Single Extension Drawer Runners for 17–19mm Drawer Sides

These Blum TANDEM TIP-ON 550mm single extension concealed/undermount drawer runners accept 17–19mm thick drawer sides, making them ideal for drawer boxes built from correctly prepared standard 18mm chipboard or MDF. Use the same board material as the cabinet carcase for more cost-effective drawer construction.

With a 30kg load capacity and integrated TIP-ON push-to-open operation, these runners suit handle-free drawers in kitchens, bedroom furniture and other cabinetry. Press the drawer front to release and open the drawer. Drawer-front height adjustment is via the compatible locking device to help achieve a neat, aligned finish.

Choose the 550mm runner length to suit your drawer design and available internal cabinet depth. This model is single extension.

Supplied as a pair. Locking devices and the synchronisation linkage are sold separately. Blum recommends the synchronisation linkage for reliable triggering; it is not universally mandatory.

No. It refers solely to drawer-side thickness, not the drawer front or its adjustment range.

Are these runners single or full extension?

This DR550FT5500 model is single extension. SE means single extension; FE means full extension.

How does TIP-ON work?

Press the drawer front to release and open the drawer, allowing handle-free furniture designs. This model uses TIP-ON push-to-open operation, not BLUMOTION soft close or TIP-ON BLUMOTION.
