A white press-fit magnetic cabinet catch with a fixed plastic housing and a separate screw-fixed steel counterplate. Its recessed mounting keeps the catch body within the cabinet panel.

Use the exact-code drawing for the Ø14 mm recess and check the fitting against the stock before machining. Press the catch into the panel and screw the counterplate to the opposing surface. Align the two faces for full contact.

Is the catch surface mounted?
No. The housing is press fitted into a drilled recess and the counterplate is screw fixed.
Is the kg figure a door weight rating?
No. It is the approximate magnetic pull, not the weight of a door that the fitting can support. Contact, alignment and the gap between the parts affect retention.
