Blum AVENTOS HF Centre Hinge 134° Set Wood Unsprung Screw-On Eclipse (HIO20F78Z50T)

This listing supplies one set of Blum centre hinges for AVENTOS HF top bi-fold lift systems on wooden doors, in the Eclipse finish. The hinge has a 134° opening angle, is unsprung and is screw-on fixed.

What This Component Does

In an AVENTOS HF top bi-fold arrangement the front is made up of two door leaves that fold as they rise. The centre hinge sits at the joint between the leaves and governs how the folding part swings open, here to 134°. As this version is unsprung, the hinge carries no closing spring of its own; the lift motion comes from the AVENTOS HF top lift mechanism and arms, which are ordered separately to suit the door weight and height.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the centre hinge on an AVENTOS HF top system?

It is the hinge at the joint between the two door leaves of a bi-fold front, letting the folding section swing through its opening angle while the lift mechanism raises the front.

Is this the Eclipse-finish version?

Yes. This listing is the Eclipse finish of the 134° wood-door centre hinge; the standard nickel-finish version is listed separately.

Does the set include the lift mechanism?

No. The AVENTOS HF top lift mechanism and bi-fold arms are ordered separately to match your door weight and height.

What does unsprung mean?

The hinge has no integrated closing spring. On a bi-fold front the lifting motion is provided by the AVENTOS HF top mechanism and arms.

What is screw-on fixing?

The hinge is secured to the door with screws. Confirm the exact drilling and spacing for your door against current Blum planning information before machining.
