Blum 79T8500 CLIP Top 60° Corner Cabinet Bi-Fold Hinge

The Blum 79T8500 CLIP top hinge is a specialist 60° bi-fold hinge designed for folding doors on kitchen corner cabinets. It joins the two door panels together so that they fold as a coordinated pair, providing improved access to otherwise difficult-to-reach corner cabinet space.

This hinge forms only one part of the complete bi-fold door arrangement. The inner door panel must also be connected to the cabinet using a compatible Blum 155° or 170° wide-angle hinge. The 79T8500 controls the folding connection between the inner and outer door panels.

The hinge has a sprung, self-closing mechanism. It is not an unsprung hinge and should not be described as suitable for TIP-ON push-to-open operation.

Designed for corner cabinet folding doors

The 60° specification describes the opening movement of the bi-fold hinge between the connected door panels. It does not represent the total access angle provided by the complete corner cabinet system, which also depends on the companion 155° or 170° cabinet hinge.
