Blum 173L6100 CLIP top cruciform mounting plate

The Blum 173L6100 is a screw-on cruciform mounting plate for a correctly planned Blum CLIP top or CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge installation. Its nominal mounting-plate spacing is 0 mm. The elongated fixing holes allow the plate position to be adjusted vertically by ±3 mm when fitting and aligning the cabinet door.

This is the nickel-plated steel version for fixing to a suitable cabinet side with chipboard screws. It is a mounting plate only; select the hinge separately to suit the door application, drilling and required overlay.

Choosing the correct plate

The 0 mm figure identifies the plate spacing used when planning the hinge and door overlay; it does not mean the plate has no physical height. The plate's physical height is 8.5 mm. Check the hinge model, cabinet drilling, door thickness and required overlay against Blum's planning information before ordering. Do not assume this plate is interchangeable with an EXPANDO plate, a cam-adjustable plate or a plate of another height.

Blum specifies a 37/32 mounting pattern for this plate. Its catalogue recommends a 17 mm screw length for a suitable cabinet construction. Select screw length for the actual panel and installation. Blum also calls for an additional fixing screw when this plate is used with certain wide-angle or zero-protrusion hinges; check the relevant hinge instructions.
