Blum 99M9550 MODUL 95° Inset Blind-Corner Hinge
The Blum 99M9550 is a specialist sprung concealed hinge for inset blind-corner cabinet doors. Its MODUL slide-on design provides a secure connection to a compatible MODUL mounting plate, while the 95° opening angle suits blind-corner units where an ordinary inset hinge cannot be used.
This hinge mounts an inset door to a muntin or fixed blind-corner panel. It is not a standard inset hinge for fitting directly to a conventional cabinet side.

Mounting-plate requirements
A compatible Blum MODUL mounting plate is required and must be ordered separately. This blind-corner application is planned around a 3mm spacing, but the mounting-plate style and fixing method must be selected to suit the cabinet construction.
Do not use a Blum CLIP mounting plate with this hinge. Door thickness, drilling distance, reveal and mounting position should be checked against Blum planning information before drilling finished doors.

What is the Blum 99M9550 used for?

Does the 99M9550 have soft close?
No. It has a spring that pulls the door closed, but it does not include BLUMOTION damping.
What is the difference between sprung and soft close?
A sprung hinge pulls the door towards the closed position. A soft-close hinge also includes a damper that slows the door before it closes. This product is sprung but not soft closing.
Which mounting plate does it require?
It requires a compatible Blum MODUL mounting plate. A 3mm-spaced plate is normally used for this blind-corner application, with the plate style selected to suit the cabinet fixing method.
Can I use a CLIP mounting plate?
No. The 99M9550 uses Blum’s MODUL slide-on connection and requires a MODUL mounting plate.
Is the mounting plate supplied?
No. The listing contains one hinge only. The mounting plate, fixing screws, cover cap and fitting tools are sold separately unless the product images explicitly show otherwise.
How is the hinge cup installed?
The 35mm hinge cup is secured to the wooden door using suitable screws. This is a screw-on hinge, not INSERTA or knock-in.
What drilling is required?
A 35mm hinge-cup hole approximately 12.3mm deep is required. The permitted cup drilling distance is 3–7mm. Confirm the complete drilling pattern before machining.
