1834 × 38 × 1mm Self-Colour Aluminium Continuous Hinge

This light-duty aluminium continuous hinge, also called a piano hinge, measures 1834mm long and 38mm wide when fully open. It has 1mm-thick leaves, a 4mm closed projection and a 2.3mm-diameter stainless-steel pin.

The continuous design supports the hinged edge along its length rather than concentrating movement at several separate hinge positions. It is suitable for appropriately specified cabinets, furniture, boxes, long lids, inspection panels and light-duty doors or enclosures.

There are 62 factory-produced fixing holes per hinge, countersunk for 2.5mm-diameter screws. Fixing screws must be ordered separately and selected to suit the substrate and application.

The hinge has a self-colour natural aluminium finish and requires regular lubrication. Supplied as one complete 1834mm hinge. It may be cut to a shorter length using suitable aluminium-cutting equipment.
