Choosing this cylinder

A double cylinder provides keyed operation from both sides of the door. It is a different operating arrangement from a cylinder-and-thumbturn version, so keep the required access from each side in mind.

Keyed alike is a keying specification, not confirmation that this item will operate with an existing key. Confirm the intended key group when extending an installation.

Compare the stated cylinder dimensions with the existing lock and door preparation. Check the profile as well as the length; a similar finish does not make different cylinder formats interchangeable. Browse door locks and cylinders to compare other arrangements.
