Choosing this cylinder

A double cylinder provides keyed operation from both sides of the door. It is a different operating arrangement from a cylinder-and-thumbturn version, so keep the required access from each side in mind.

A master-key arrangement needs to match the intended key system. Check the suite requirements before adding a cylinder to an existing installation; a matching size and finish do not establish key compatibility.

Compare the stated cylinder dimensions with the existing lock and door preparation. Check the profile as well as the length; a similar finish does not make different cylinder formats interchangeable. Browse door locks and cylinders to compare other arrangements.
