Osmo Grain Sealing Wax (5735) is a specialist wax used to seal the end grain of timber before applying Osmo oil or wax finishes. End grain is highly absorbent and can draw in excessive amounts of finish, leading to uneven colour and over-consumption of product. Applying Grain Sealing Wax first reduces absorption and ensures a consistent, even result across the full surface.

Particularly recommended for use on timber floors, worktops, stairs, and any cut or exposed end grain sections before finishing with Osmo Polyx-Oil, Wood Wax Finish, or Top Oil.

• Use: End grain sealer — applied before Osmo oil or wax top coat
• Coverage: Approx. 10–15 m² per litre on end grain
• Application: Brush or lint-free cloth, applied to end grain only
• Coats required: 1 coat, allow to dry before applying top coat
• Suitable for: End grain of interior timber floors, worktops, stairs, and joinery
• Drying time: Approx. 2–4 hours before top coat
• Size: 0.375L
