PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Tectus TE340 3D FR concealed hinge in Matt Black, finish code 107 (RAL 9005), includes an integrated intumescent kit for unrebated residential and heavy-duty doors. Completely hidden when the door is closed, it keeps the door face free from exposed hinge hardware.

Designed for timber or steel door leaves with timber, steel or aluminium frames, this FR version combines maintenance-free slide bearings with three-dimensional adjustment for accurate alignment. Its sideways-closing hinge body gives a neat mortise appearance.

Installation and fire-door suitability

Use the appropriate TE340 routing templates and frame receiver for the door construction. Fire-door suitability depends on the door construction, and test evidence must cover the complete door set and assembly. Confirm suitability with the door manufacturer before installation; the hinge alone does not establish a fire rating for the door.

Follow the manufacturer's installation and load-capacity guidance. At an opening position of 180°, the door may require additional fixing.
