Suitable Surfaces

The standard-adhesion yellow tape is suitable for bare surfaces and previously painted surfaces where the existing coating has fully cured for more than 28 days. Recommended smooth surfaces include plaster, wood, metal, glass, mouldings, switches and sockets.

Always test a small, inconspicuous area before beginning work. Use a suitable low-tack tape on newly painted, fragile or particularly sensitive surfaces.

Application Instructions

1. Ensure the surface is smooth, clean, dry and free from dust and grease.
2. Test the tape on a small, inconspicuous area.
3. Check that previously painted surfaces have cured for more than 28 days.
4. Apply the tape without stretching and align it carefully with the required paint edge.
5. Press the edge down evenly to create consistent contact with the surface.
6. Avoid overloading the edge with paint.
7. Peel the tape away carefully, ideally before the paint dries.
8. Remove it no later than 24 hours after application.

Important: This product is not identified as UV resistant. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight, high temperatures or high humidity. For new paint or delicate finishes, select a low-tack version.
