PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Beech Flexible Wood Veneer FSHM 30mm x 100m

This practical decorative Beech veneer roll is designed for furniture makers, cabinet makers, joiners and shopfitters who need a genuine timber surface for edging, repairs and detailed interior work.

Beech has a pale pinkish-brown to light-tan colour with a fine, even grain and smooth texture. Its consistent hardwood appearance suits fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, doors and bespoke interior joinery.

What Does FSHM Mean?

FSHM means the back is fleeced for flexibility, the front face is sanded smooth, and a hot-melt adhesive is applied to the reverse for iron-on installation. When trimming, the cut follows the blade rather than the timber grain, helping produce a clean, controlled trim line regardless of grain direction.

The 30mm width gives useful coverage for board edges and provides trimming allowance where required. Supplied as a 100m roll, it is a practical workshop format for repeated cabinet, furniture, shopfitting and joinery projects.

Applications

Suitable for cabinet edging, shelving, drawer fronts, door edges, furniture manufacture and restoration, panel finishing, decorative trims, shopfitting, display units and bespoke interior joinery.

Application Tips

Apply to a clean, dry, flat and stable substrate. Check grain direction before cutting, confirm the surface preparation is suitable, and test adhesive and finish compatibility on an offcut. Position accurately, activate the hot-melt backing with controlled heat, apply firm pressure while warm and allow the bond to cool before trimming.

Beech is a natural material, so colour and grain will vary throughout the roll. Test the selected finish first because stains, oils and clear coatings can deepen the colour and alter the grain contrast.
