PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Woodleaf Teak Pre-Glued Wood Veneer Sheet – 2500 x 255mm
Create a warm and distinctive natural-wood finish with this Woodleaf Teak Pre-Glued Wood Veneer Sheet. Measuring 2500mm long by 255mm wide, it is suitable for covering narrow furniture panels, cabinet components, drawer fronts, plinths, trims and decorative interior features.
Teak is recognised for its warm golden-brown to deeper brown colouring and attractive natural grain. Its appearance works particularly well on mid-century-inspired furniture, fitted interiors, display units, feature panels and bespoke joinery.
This HM version has a factory-applied heat-activated adhesive backing. It does not normally require a separate wet adhesive and can be applied using appropriate controlled heating and pressing equipment or a suitable veneer iron.
The 2500mm length is useful for long furniture and cabinetry components. The 255mm width provides substantially more coverage than conventional edging tape while remaining easier to position than a full-size veneer sheet.
This is an interior decorative veneer product. Do not describe it as suitable for exterior, wet-area or marine applications unless separate verified technical information specifically confirms this.

Application Guidance
Ensure the receiving surface is clean, dry, flat, smooth and free from dust, grease or loose material. Measure the component and position the veneer carefully before activating the adhesive.
Check the colour, grain direction and placement before bonding. If several pieces will be installed together, arrange them beforehand to achieve the most suitable visual flow.
Apply controlled, even heat and firm pressure progressively across the veneer. Avoid holding the heat source in one position for too long. Work methodically to reduce the possibility of movement, trapped air or uneven bonding.
Allow the adhesive to cool completely before trimming the edges or carrying out further finishing work. Heating time, pressure and temperature can vary according to the equipment and substrate, so test the process on a small or spare section first.
After bonding, carefully trim the veneer and lightly prepare the surface for a compatible lacquer, oil or clear timber finish. Always test the chosen finishing system because it may deepen or alter the natural colour.
Teak is a genuine natural material. Colour, grain and figuring will vary between sheets. These variations are part of the character of real wood and should not be considered defects.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this genuine Teak veneer?
Yes. The visible surface is genuine Teak wood veneer rather than a printed or imitation wood-effect finish.
What does HM mean?
HM identifies the heat-activated adhesive backing. The adhesive is activated using controlled heat and firm, even pressure during application.
What size is the veneer sheet?
The sheet measures 2500mm long by 255mm wide. Allow sufficient material for positioning and final trimming when planning the project.
Can it be applied to MDF?
It can be applied to suitable MDF, plywood, chipboard and similar stable substrates, provided the surface is clean, dry, flat and correctly prepared.
Do I need to apply a separate adhesive?
No separate wet adhesive is normally required because the sheet has a factory-applied heat-activated backing. Correct heat and pressure are required to activate the bond.
What colour is Teak veneer?
Natural Teak commonly has warm golden-brown to deeper brown colouring. Shade, grain and markings vary between individual sheets.
Can this veneer be used outside?
This listing is for interior decorative furniture and joinery applications. Do not use it for exterior or continuously damp environments without verified confirmation that the complete veneer, adhesive, substrate and finishing system are suitable.
Can it be used for furniture restoration?
Yes. It can be used to repair or update appropriately prepared indoor furniture panels where the dimensions, Teak appearance and heat-application method are suitable.
Can Teak veneer be lacquered or oiled?
The surface can be finished with a compatible lacquer, oil or other suitable interior timber finish. Always test the selected product on an offcut first.
