Blum 79T5550 CLIP top +45° Type II Overlay Sprung Screw-On Hinge

The Blum 79T5550 is a specialist CLIP top angled hinge for overlay cabinet doors fitted to cabinets with a 45° angled or diagonal construction.

Its Type II hinge-arm geometry provides the correct movement for appropriate +45° overlay applications, including diagonal corner cabinets and purpose-built angled furniture. The hinge provides a 110° door-opening angle for practical access to the cabinet interior.

Blum has discontinued the 79T5550, but Hart Wholesale has remaining genuine stock available while supplies last. It is particularly useful for replacing existing hinges with the same Blum part number and established drilling pattern.

Sprung self-closing action

The 79T5550 contains a closing spring that pulls the cabinet door into its closed position. It is self-closing but does not contain integrated BLUMOTION soft-close damping.
