PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Blum AVENTOS HS 20S2I00.05 Type I lift-mechanism set is the highest-capacity mechanism option for original-generation AVENTOS HS cabinets from 676 to 800 mm high. It forms part of an up-and-over lift system that moves a large single-piece cabinet front upwards and over the cabinet.

The mechanisms incorporate BLUMOTION for soft and controlled closing when installed as part of a correctly specified AVENTOS HS system. Spring-force adjustment allows the completed lift system to be matched to the cabinet height and total front weight, including the handle.

Front-weight selection

The permitted total front weight changes according to the exact cabinet height. Blum specifies the following reference points for the Type I mechanism:

750 mm	11.50–20.50 kg
800 mm	10.50–20.00 kg

These are reference points rather than one continuous weight range. Blum provides separate values at 5 mm cabinet-height intervals. Use the Blum Product Configurator to verify the correct mechanism for the precise cabinet height, front construction and total front weight.

Required separately

This mechanism set is not a complete AVENTOS HS installation. The following components must be selected separately:

20S3500.06 standard lever-arm set, or the appropriate SERVO-DRIVE lever-arm set
20Q1061UN round cross-stabiliser rod, cut to the required cabinet width
20Q153ZN connecting set for internal cabinet widths of 1190 mm and above
Suitable front fixing brackets
Compatible AVENTOS HS cover-cap set

Standard and SERVO-DRIVE installations

The 20S2I00.05 lift mechanisms can form part of either a standard mechanical or correctly specified SERVO-DRIVE installation. The required lever arms, covers and electrical components depend on the selected system:

Use 20S3500.06 lever arms for a standard mechanical installation
Use 21S3500.01 lever arms and the appropriate electrical components for SERVO-DRIVE
The SERVO-DRIVE motor, switches, power supply and cabling are not included

Compatibility warning

Check the system generation before ordering: 20S2I00.05 belongs to the original AVENTOS HS range. It must not be confused with current-generation AVENTOS HS top mechanisms.

AVENTOS HS creates an up-and-over movement. It is not an AVENTOS HL parallel lift or an AVENTOS HF bi-fold lift. The original HS system requires the round 20Q1061UN cross stabiliser; do not substitute the oval AVENTOS HL stabiliser.
