The Blum 79B9580 is a specialist 95° concealed hinge for inset blind-corner cabinet doors. Its Onyx Black finish coordinates with dark doors and cabinet interiors, while integrated BLUMOTION provides smooth, controlled soft closing.

This hinge mounts an inset door to a muntin or fixed blind-corner panel. It is not intended as a standard inset hinge fitted to a conventional cabinet side.

Blind-corner installation guidance

This specialist hinge requires a compatible 3mm-spaced Blum CLIP mounting plate, sold separately. For the blind-corner application, the mounting-plate fixing position is moved towards the edge of the muntin according to Blum’s planning information. Door thickness, cup drilling distance, reveal and mounting position must be planned together before production drilling.

The knock-in dowels require a correctly prepared 35mm cup hole and two 8mm fixing holes. Knock-in fixing is different from Blum INSERTA: the dowels are pressed or knocked into the prepared door rather than locked using an INSERTA lever.
