Blum CLIP top +30° Type III maximum-overlay angled hinge

The Blum 79A9456.T CLIP top angled hinge is designed for specialist +30° Type III maximum-overlay cabinet applications. It provides the hinge geometry required for doors fitted to angled, diagonal or corner cabinet constructions where a conventional straight-arm hinge cannot produce the correct door position.

This is a maximum-overlay hinge, designed to provide the greatest possible door coverage for the appropriate Blum +30° Type III planning situation. It is suitable for bespoke kitchens, corner cabinets, angled storage units and purpose-made furniture where accurate front positioning is essential.

The +30° designation describes the hinge application and cabinet geometry—it is not the door’s opening angle. Once installed in the correct configuration, the hinge provides an opening angle of approximately 95°.

This version uses a sprung closing mechanism to pull the cabinet door towards its closed position. It does not contain integrated BLUMOTION soft close. The screw-on hinge cup provides a secure mechanical fixing to the cabinet front, making it suitable for professional furniture production, replacement work and one-off installations.

Understanding the +30° Type III application

Blum angled hinges are selected according to the relationship between the cabinet side, cabinet front and required door overlay. The +30° Type III classification identifies a particular maximum-overlay planning arrangement. It should not be confused with a hinge that simply opens by 30°.
