Blum 71B4500C CLIP Top BLUMOTION CRISTALLO Glass-Door Hinge

The Blum 71B4500C CRISTALLO is a concealed soft-close hinge designed for glass and mirror cabinet doors. It uses a separately purchased adhesion plate that is professionally bonded directly to the glass, eliminating the need to drill a conventional hinge-cup hole through the door.

This makes it ideal for glass display cabinets, premium kitchen furniture, bathroom cabinets, retail displays and bespoke furniture where a clean, uninterrupted glass surface is required.

Integrated BLUMOTION soft close

Blum’s BLUMOTION soft-close mechanism is built into the hinge, providing smooth, quiet and controlled door closing without requiring a separate damper.

BLUMOTION can be deactivated on an individual hinge when necessary. This can help achieve the correct closing action on particularly small or lightweight glass doors.

How the CRISTALLO system works

The compatible Blum 70T4568C CRISTALLO adhesion plate is bonded to the rear surface of the glass or mirror door. Once securely attached, the 71B4500C hinge connects to the adhesion plate without tools.

The hinge arm then clips onto a compatible cabinet-side Blum CLIP mounting plate. This allows the complete door to be removed and refitted without disturbing the bonded adhesion plate.

The adhesion plate, cabinet-side mounting plate and bonding adhesive are not included with this hinge.

Versatile door configuration

The 71B4500C provides a 110° opening angle and can be planned for full-overlay, half-overlay or inset glass-door applications. The final door position is determined by the adhesion-plate position, cabinet construction and mounting-plate selection.

Blum recommends a minimum operating gap of approximately 2mm around all four edges of a glass or mirror door to help reduce the risk of contact and breakage.
