Single Screen Hinge 22 x 60 mm, Brass

The HI1229 single screen hinge is the 22 x 60 mm brass option in this selection. Choose it by hinge format and dimensions when specifying screen hardware, rather than treating every brass-finish hinge as interchangeable.

Choosing This Hinge

Compare the hinge leaves, fixing positions and movement required by the screen or panel. This brass model differs in both size and material specification from the 25 x 60 mm zinc-plated steel HI1229S. Neither the opening angle nor load capacity is confirmed in this listing.

Fitting and Selection

Check the hinge position, leaf clearance and fixing layout against the lid, screen or panel. Confirm that the intended movement is unobstructed before final fixing, and select fixings appropriate to the receiving material. Do not assume that a similar-looking fitting has the same fixing centres or geometry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the opening angle or load capacity confirmed?

No opening angle or load capacity is stated in the current product specification. Check those requirements before selecting this hinge for a particular installation.

What size should I check?

This version is identified by 22 x 60 mm. Check fixing centres separately before ordering.

What does the finish description mean?

The current product specification describes this version as brass. Keep that specification distinct from electroplated-brass alternatives.

Which other fitting should I compare?

Compare Single Screen Hinge 25 x 60 mm, Zinc-Plated Steel (HI1229S). Check its individual dimensions and function; it is not automatically a direct replacement.

Explore case catches, handles and box fittings; for closing fittings, compare Ornate Jewel Box Clip 3126, Brass (CC500A). Check each component independently when planning the complete assembly.
