Blum 71B3780 CLIP top BLUMOTION 110° Inset Knock-In Hinge

The Blum 71B3780 is a nickel-plated, sprung concealed hinge for an inset cabinet door that closes within the cabinet opening. Its fully cranked arm provides the geometry for a correctly planned inset installation. Integrated, switchable BLUMOTION slows the door as it closes.

This version has a 35 mm steel cup with pre-mounted knock-in dowels. It is pressed into an accurately drilled three-hole door pattern using suitable insertion equipment, making it useful for prepared workshop installations. Once fitted, the hinge arm connects to a compatible cabinet-side Blum CLIP mounting plate without tools, so the door can be removed without disturbing the cup. The plate and cabinet fixings are sold separately.

Knock-in does not mean hammering a hinge into a plain screw-on cup bore: prepare all three holes and use controlled insertion to avoid damage. Plan the mounting-plate position for the door thickness, cup drilling distance and surrounding gaps, and trial-fit before drilling a full set of doors.
