Blum 71B3750 CLIP top BLUMOTION 110° Inset Screw-On Hinge

The Blum 71B3750 is a sprung, nickel-plated hinge for cabinet doors that close within the opening, rather than overlapping the cabinet sides. Its fully cranked arm provides an inset application. Integrated, switchable BLUMOTION slows the final stage of closing; it can be deactivated on individual hinges when less damping is needed.

Fixing and installation

The 35 mm hinge cup is secured to the back of a prepared door using screws. The hinge arm then clips onto a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate, sold separately, so the door can be detached without removing the cup. An inset result depends on hinge-arm geometry and positioning the mounting plate farther inside the cabinet, not on a special inset cup. The existing Blum installation guidance specifies setting the plate back by the door thickness plus 1.5 mm; verify the actual gaps, drilling distance and plate spacing with a trial fit.
