Blum 70T7550.TL CLIP top 155° Zero-Protrusion Unsprung Hinge

The Blum 70T7550.TL is a wide-angle concealed hinge for full-overlay cabinet doors. Its 155° opening angle and zero-protrusion geometry move the open door clear of the cabinet opening, making it particularly useful for cabinets containing internal drawers or pull-out shelves.

This hinge is unsprung and provides free-swing movement. It does not pull the door closed and does not contain integrated BLUMOTION. This makes it suitable for correctly planned handleless furniture using a compatible Blum TIP-ON push-to-open device.

The 35mm steel hinge cup is secured to the door using screws. The hinge arm then connects to a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate, allowing the door to be attached or removed without tools.

Supplied as one hinge. The mounting plate, TIP-ON device, fixing screws and optional opening-angle restrictor are sold separately.

Why use a zero-protrusion hinge?

With a conventional hinge, part of the open door may remain in front of the cabinet opening and obstruct an internal drawer or pull-out shelf. The Blum zero-protrusion hinge moves a correctly planned overlay door clear of this path, allowing interior pull-outs to open without striking the door.

Cabinet dimensions, door thickness, overlay and mounting-plate selection must still be planned correctly. A trial installation is recommended before manufacturing multiple cabinets.

Planning guidance

Zero-protrusion performance depends on the door thickness, drilling distance, overlay, mounting-plate height and cabinet construction. Check the complete application when internal drawers or shelves must pass through the cabinet opening.

A trial application is also recommended where the cabinet stands beside a wall or neighbouring front, as a 155° door requires sufficient surrounding clearance.

The opening angle can be restricted using Blum 70T7553 for approximately 110° or 70T7553.09 for approximately 92° where the full opening movement is not required.

No. This part is the overlay version. Blum uses the dual-application hinge with a correctly selected 9mm mounting plate for planned inset applications.
