PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Blum 71T7530N CLIP top 155° Zero-Protrusion Hinge
The Blum 71T7530N is a wide-opening, zero-protrusion overlay hinge designed for cabinets containing internal drawers, pull-out shelves or larder fittings. When the application is correctly planned, the open door clears the cabinet interior so pull-outs can operate without striking the door.
This nickel-plated CLIP top hinge has a 155° opening angle, sprung closing action and a knock-in cup with fixing dowels. It is particularly useful where wide access to the cabinet is required.
Please note: this is a knock-in or dowel-fixed hinge, not an INSERTA hinge. The fixing bosses are pressed into accurately prepared holes, normally using suitable hinge insertion equipment.

Opening-angle restriction
Compatible opening-angle stops can reduce the maximum opening to approximately 110° or 92°. This can help prevent the door or handle from contacting an adjacent wall, cabinet or appliance.
Installation guidance
Zero-protrusion performance depends on the mounting-plate height, cabinet dimensions, front thickness, overlay and drilling position. Check the Blum planning information and trial-fit the door before completing the installation, particularly beside walls or adjacent fronts.
Frequently asked questions
What does zero-protrusion mean?
When correctly planned, the open door moves sufficiently clear of the cabinet interior to allow internal drawers or pull-out shelves to extend. It does not mean that the door produces no projection at every point in its movement.
Is this an INSERTA hinge?
No. The 71T7530N uses knock-in or dowel fixing bosses. These are pressed into accurately drilled fixing holes and should not be confused with Blum's tool-free INSERTA cup mechanism.
Does this hinge have soft close?
No. This is a standard sprung CLIP top hinge without integrated BLUMOTION. For integrated soft closing, consider the Blum 71B7550 screw-on version.
Is the mounting plate included?
No. A compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate must be ordered separately.
Can it be used with internal drawers or larder pull-outs?
Yes. That is the principal purpose of the zero-protrusion design, provided the cabinet, overlay and mounting position follow Blum's planning requirements.
What door thickness can it accommodate?
The hinge family can be planned for front thicknesses up to approximately 31mm. Suitability depends on the required gap, front profile and installation geometry.
Can the 155° opening angle be restricted?
Yes. Blum opening-angle stops are available to reduce the opening to approximately 110° or 92°.
Is a screw-on version available?
Yes. The Blum 71T7550 provides the corresponding sprung zero-protrusion application with a screw-fixed hinge cup.
