Blum 71T9690B CLIP Top 95° Half-Overlay Profile Door Hinge – INSERTA

The Blum 71T9690B CLIP top hinge is designed for dual or half-overlay cabinet applications using thick doors, shaped fronts or doors with profiled and moulded edges. It is commonly used where two cabinet doors share the same central partition, with each door covering part of the cabinet side.

Its specialised profile-door geometry and controlled 95° opening angle provide additional clearance for thick or decorative door edges. This helps prevent the door from binding against the cabinet or interfering with the adjoining door during opening.

The 71T9690B has a sprung, self-closing mechanism that pulls the cabinet door towards the closed position. It is not an unsprung hinge and is not intended as the preferred hinge for a TIP-ON push-to-open installation.

Tool-free INSERTA hinge-cup fixing

Blum’s INSERTA system allows the hinge cup to be secured to a correctly drilled cabinet door without conventional fixing screws. The fixing expands into the prepared holes when the INSERTA lever is closed, providing fast, accurate and repeatable installation.

The hinge arm also connects to a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate without tools. This allows the door to be installed, removed and refitted easily without disturbing the mounting plate.
