Blum CLIP top BLUMOTION 107° Inset Hinge – Onyx Black

The Blum 75B1750.ONS is a fully cranked CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge for inset cabinet doors, where the closed door sits neatly inside the cabinet opening rather than covering the cabinet sides.

Its integrated BLUMOTION mechanism slows the door during closing, providing a controlled and quiet soft-close action. The soft-close function can be switched off on individual hinges when required, which is useful on smaller or lighter cabinet doors where several hinges are fitted.

With a minimum hinge-cup drilling depth of only 11.5mm, this hinge can be used with wooden cabinet fronts starting from 15mm thick. The 107° opening angle provides practical access for kitchen, bedroom and fitted-furniture cabinets.

The screw-on 35mm steel hinge cup is fixed directly to the back of the cabinet door. Blum’s CLIP connection then allows the hinge arm to attach to and release from the mounting plate without tools, making door installation, removal and adjustment considerably easier.

The onyx-black finish is particularly effective inside dark cabinets or on furniture where exposed nickel-coloured hardware would interrupt the overall design.

What is an inset cabinet hinge?

No. This version has a closing spring and integrated BLUMOTION. Handleless TIP-ON doors normally require the appropriate unsprung, free-moving hinge instead.

Can the door be removed without unscrewing the hinge?

Yes. The CLIP mechanism allows the hinge arm to be detached from the mounting plate without tools, leaving the hinge cup fixed to the door.
