Blum 75T1590B CLIP Top 107° Overlay INSERTA Hinge

The Blum 75T1590B is a sprung CLIP top concealed hinge for full-overlay cabinet doors. It combines a practical 107° opening angle with Blum’s tool-free INSERTA cup fixing, making it particularly suitable for accurately pre-drilled kitchen, bedroom and fitted-furniture doors.

Its shallow 11.5mm minimum cup drilling depth makes the hinge suitable for cabinet fronts approximately 15–24mm thick, subject to the door material, edge profile and drilling position.

Important: this is a sprung, self-closing hinge. It does not contain integrated BLUMOTION soft-close.

Full-overlay cabinet application

A full-overlay door covers most of the cabinet side panel when closed. The straight hinge arm is designed for this common cabinet construction and can be combined with different mounting-plate heights to produce the required door overlay.

The final overlay and operating gap depend on the selected mounting plate, cup-drilling distance and cabinet construction. A trial installation is recommended before drilling multiple doors.

Tool-free INSERTA cup fixing

Blum’s INSERTA system allows the hinge cup to be secured to the door without separate screws or a mechanical insertion press. Insert the cup into the prepared drilling pattern and operate the integrated locking mechanism to expand the fixings inside the two 8mm holes.

The required drilling pattern consists of a 35mm cup hole and two 8mm fixing holes positioned on 45mm centres. The cup-hole drilling distance can be set between 3mm and 6mm, depending on the required overlay and door-edge profile.

CLIP top fitting and adjustment

Once the cup is installed, the hinge arm clips onto a compatible Blum mounting plate without tools. The door can therefore be attached or removed without undoing the cabinet-side mounting screws.

Side, depth and height adjustment allow the door position and gaps to be aligned accurately after installation.
