Blum 75T4200 CLIP Top 94° Half-Overlay Glass Door Hinge

The Blum 75T4200 is a sprung CLIP top concealed hinge for dual or half-overlay glass cabinet doors. This application is used where two doors are mounted on opposite sides of the same central cabinet partition.

The hinge opens to 94° and is suitable for drilled frameless glass fronts between 4.5mm and 7mm thick. Its internal spring pulls the door into the closed position, providing reliable self-closing action.

Important: the Blum 75T4200 does not contain integrated BLUMOTION soft-close. It is also not a no-drill hinge—the glass requires an accurately manufactured 26mm fixing hole.

Dual and half-overlay application

In a dual-door installation, two glass doors share a central cabinet side panel. The cranked hinge arm positions each door so that it covers approximately half of the shared partition while maintaining the required operating gap between the doors.

The exact glass-door overlay depends on the selected mounting-plate height, drilling position and cabinet construction. A trial assembly should be completed before manufacturing several doors.

Drilled-glass screw fixing

The 75T4200 uses a glass-specific screw-on boss rather than the conventional 35mm cup used for timber cabinet doors. The glass requires a 26mm diameter drilling with a tolerance of +0.2/−0mm.

The recommended distance from the outside edge of the 26mm drilling to the edge of the glass door is 5.5–7mm. The finished drilling position should always be confirmed using Blum’s planning information.

The boss-fixing screws are supplied with the hinge. Glass drilling and edge preparation should be completed by a suitably equipped glass processor before the door is toughened.

CLIP top installation and adjustment

The hinge arm clips onto a compatible Blum mounting plate. This allows the glass door to be attached to or removed from the cabinet without undoing the cabinet-side mounting screws.

Three-dimensional adjustment and Blum’s spiral-screw depth adjustment allow both doors to be aligned accurately across the shared cabinet partition.

Does the Blum 75T4200 have soft-close?

No. The hinge contains a closing spring but does not have an integrated BLUMOTION soft-close damper.
