Blum 79B9454 CLIP top BLUMOTION +15° Type III Maximum-Overlay Hinge

The Blum 79B9454 CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge is designed for +15° Type III angled, maximum-overlay cabinet applications. Its specialised hinge-arm geometry makes it suitable for angled or diagonal cabinet fronts where a conventional straight-arm overlay hinge cannot provide the required door position.

The +15° designation describes the angled cabinet application; it is not the door-opening angle. The hinge provides a practical 95° opening angle.

Maximum-overlay angled application

This hinge is designed to achieve maximum door overlay within the specified +15° Type III angled application. The final door position depends on the cabinet construction, cup drilling position, mounting-plate height and hinge adjustment.

Because angled cabinet applications require careful planning, a trial installation is recommended before drilling every door in a production run.

Integrated BLUMOTION soft close

Blum's BLUMOTION technology is integrated inside the hinge, providing smooth, quiet and controlled cabinet-door closing without requiring a separate soft-close adapter.

The BLUMOTION function can be deactivated on individual hinges when necessary. This can improve the closing action on smaller or lightweight cabinet doors.

Traditional screw-on hinge-cup fixing
