The Blum 79B9596 CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge is designed for +30° Type II angled overlay cabinet applications. It provides the specialised hinge geometry required for cabinets with angled or diagonal front arrangements where a conventional straight-arm hinge is unsuitable.

The +30° designation describes the angled cabinet application; it is not the door-opening angle. The hinge provides a practical 95° opening angle.

Integrated BLUMOTION soft close

BLUMOTION soft-close technology is integrated into the hinge, producing a smooth, quiet and controlled closing movement without requiring a separate soft-close adapter.

The BLUMOTION function can be deactivated on individual hinges when necessary. This can help achieve the correct closing action on smaller or lightweight cabinet doors.

Tool-free INSERTA cup fixing

This version uses Blum's INSERTA hinge-cup fixing system. Once the cabinet door has been prepared with the correct INSERTA drilling pattern, the hinge cup can be secured without conventional fixing screws.

The hinge also connects to a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate without tools, allowing the cabinet door to be fitted or removed quickly during installation, adjustment or maintenance.
