Blum 973A6000 BLUMOTION Damper for 170° CLIP top Hinges

The Blum 973A6000 is a clip-on BLUMOTION soft-close attachment for compatible Blum CLIP top 170° wide-angle hinges. It can be used with the appropriate overlay and dual or half-overlay hinge configurations.

The damper clips onto the compatible hinge arm and controls the cabinet door during the final stage of closing. This provides smoother, quieter movement without replacing the complete hinge.

This product is the BLUMOTION attachment only. The 170° hinge, cabinet mounting plate and fixing screws are not included.

Blum 973A dampers are shaped for particular hinge families. Before ordering, confirm that the existing hinge is a compatible Blum CLIP top 170° model and requires damper number 973A6000.

The number of dampers required depends on the door’s dimensions, weight and closing behaviour. Trial fitting is recommended. Adding a damper does not convert an unsprung hinge into a sprung or self-closing hinge.
