The Blum 79A9498BT CLIP top angled hinge is designed for specialist +45° Type III maximum-overlay cabinet applications. Its distinctive hinge-arm geometry positions the cabinet door correctly on a sharply angled or diagonal cabinet front where an ordinary straight concealed hinge cannot be used.

This specialist hinge is particularly useful for diagonal kitchen corner cabinets, angled furniture, display units and bespoke cabinetry constructed with a positive 45° cabinet angle.

The hinge provides a 95° door opening angle and contains a closing spring that pulls the door into its closed position. It is self-closing but does not include integrated BLUMOTION soft-close damping.

The +45° measurement describes the cabinet geometry—not the distance through which the door opens. When correctly planned and installed, the cabinet door opens to approximately 95°.

Angled cabinet hinges should not be chosen from the nominal angle alone. The correct mounting-plate height and fixing position depend on the exact cabinet angle, required overlay, door thickness and drilling distance.
