Blum 79B9590 CLIP top BLUMOTION 95° Blind-Corner Hinge

The Blum 79B9590 is a specialist 95° inset blind-corner hinge for attaching a cabinet door to an inset muntin or fixed blind-corner panel. Its Onyx Black finish makes it particularly suitable for dark doors, cabinets and exposed interior hardware.

Integrated BLUMOTION provides controlled soft closing and can be switched off at an individual hinge when required. The INSERTA fixing system allows the 35mm hinge cup to be secured to the door without screws or tools.

Blind-corner installation notes

This hinge uses a 3mm-spaced standard Blum CLIP mounting plate. For the blind-corner application, Blum specifies that the standard mounting-plate fixing positions are moved 15.5mm towards the edge of the muntin, giving a 21.5mm mounting setback.

The required front reveal is calculated as F = 8mm minus the hinge-cup drilling distance (TB). Door thickness, drilling distance and cabinet construction must therefore be considered together. Trial fitting is recommended where required by Blum's planning table, particularly with thicker fronts.

Please note: The mounting plate is not included and must be ordered separately. Do not combine CLIP top BLUMOTION hinges with standard non-BLUMOTION CLIP top hinges on the same door.
