Blum 71B9550 CLIP top BLUMOTION 95° Overlay Screw-On Hinge

The Blum 71B9550 is a nickel-plated CLIP top BLUMOTION overlay hinge designed for thick and profiled cabinet doors. Its straight hinge arm positions the closed door over the cabinet side panel, while the 95° opening angle provides controlled door movement in installations where a wider opening is unnecessary or undesirable.

Integrated BLUMOTION technology provides smooth, quiet soft closing without requiring a separate damper. This version has a conventional screw-on 35mm hinge cup for secure fixing to the back of the cabinet door.

Overlay-door application

An overlay hinge positions the closed cabinet door over the front edge of the cabinet side panel. It is often described as a full-overlay application, although the finished overlay dimension depends on the cup drilling distance and selected mounting-plate height.

The door thickness, edge profile, cabinet construction, hinge-cup position and required clearance throughout the 95° opening movement must all be considered during planning.

Screw-on hinge-cup fixing

The 35mm hinge cup is fitted into a machined recess in the back of the door and secured through the hinge flange using suitable screws. The screw-on description refers specifically to the hinge-to-door fixing.

A separate Blum CLIP mounting plate is still required on the cabinet. The hinge clips onto the compatible plate without tools, making the door easier to install and remove.
