Case Corner 28 x 28, Brass Finish

The CC508L case corner offers the 28 x 28 size reference with an electroplated-brass finish. It is the larger size reference in this group of case corners, providing an alternative to the 22 x 22 versions when planning a box or case.

Choosing This Case Corner

Compare the available area around the corner and the fitting profile with the case construction. Pick the appropriate size before choosing a finish, and do not assume the smaller and larger versions share fixing positions.

Fitting and Selection

Check the case corner profile, coverage and fixing positions. Offer the fitting up to the corner before drilling, and select fixings appropriate to the case construction. Do not assume that a similar-looking fitting has the same fixing centres or geometry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a catch or a handle?

No. It is a case-corner fitting. Select a separate catch for closing the case and a suitable handle for carrying it.

What size should I check?

This version is identified by 28 x 28 as its size reference. Check fixing centres separately before ordering.

What does the finish description mean?

Electroplated brass describes the surface finish. It is not confirmation that the underlying fitting is solid brass.

Which other fitting should I compare?

Compare Case Corner 28 x 28, Nickel Plated (CC508LC). Check its individual dimensions and function; it is not automatically a direct replacement.

Explore case catches, handles and box fittings and compare SQUARE LOCKING CASE CATCH 3410 NP (CC501) for a separate locking case closure. Check each component independently when planning the complete assembly.
