Maple Flexible Wood Veneer FSHM 25mm x 100m is a genuine wood veneer edging roll with a factory-applied heat-activated adhesive, designed for neat and efficient finishing of furniture panels, cabinetry, shelving and interior joinery.

Maple is known for its pale cream colour, fine grain and clean, understated appearance. It is particularly well suited to contemporary furniture, fitted interiors, display units and cabinetry where a light natural timber finish is required.

The 25mm width provides useful extra coverage for wider board edges, thicker panels and applications where trimming allowance is needed. Its pre-glued backing removes the need to apply separate adhesive, helping reduce preparation time while producing a clean and consistent bond.

The adhesive is activated using controlled heat and pressure, allowing the veneer to be applied with a suitable edging machine, veneer iron or similar heat source. Once bonded and cooled, the excess can be trimmed and lightly sanded for a professional finished edge.

Application Guidance

Ensure the board edge is clean, dry, smooth and free from dust, oil or grease. Position the veneer carefully and apply even heat and firm pressure to activate the adhesive. Work progressively along the edge to help prevent movement, bubbles or trapped air.

Allow the adhesive to cool fully before trimming the excess veneer. The finished edge can then be lightly sanded and coated with a compatible lacquer, oil, stain or clear finish where required.

As maple is a natural material, variations in grain, shade and figure should be expected between rolls and individual sections.
