Maple Flexible Wood Veneer FSHM 50mm x 100m is a genuine real wood veneer edging roll with a factory-applied heat-activated adhesive, designed for finishing wide panel edges, substantial furniture components, cabinetry and interior joinery.

Maple is valued for its pale cream colouring, fine grain and smooth, clean appearance. It is particularly well suited to contemporary furniture, fitted interiors, display units and cabinetry where a light natural timber finish is required.

The generous 50mm width provides excellent coverage for thick boards, wide panel edges, built-up components and repair work where additional trimming allowance is needed. Its pre-glued backing removes the need to apply a separate adhesive, helping reduce preparation time and support a neat, consistent bond.

The adhesive is activated using controlled heat and firm pressure. The veneer can be applied with a suitable edging machine, veneer iron or similar controlled heat source. Once the bond has cooled, the excess material can be trimmed and lightly sanded to create a clean, professional finish.

Application Guidance

Ensure the panel edge is clean, dry, smooth and free from dust, oil or grease. Position the veneer carefully and apply even heat with firm, consistent pressure to activate the adhesive.

Work progressively along the edge to help prevent movement, trapped air or uneven bonding. Allow the adhesive to cool fully before trimming the excess material.

The finished edge can then be lightly sanded and coated with a compatible lacquer, oil, stain or clear finish where required.

As maple is a natural wood product, variations in shade, grain and figure should be expected between rolls and individual sections.
