PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pine Flexible Wood Veneer FSHM 25mm x 100m Pre-Glued
Pine Flexible Wood Veneer FSHM 25mm x 100m is a genuine real-wood edging roll with a factory-applied heat-activated adhesive. It is designed to cover exposed furniture-board edges with the light colour, natural grain and familiar character of pine.
The 25mm width provides useful additional coverage compared with narrower edging and leaves a practical trimming allowance on many commonly used furniture panels. Its long 100m roll is ideal for workshop use, repeated cabinet edging and furniture-production applications.
Natural pine has a light cream-to-pale golden colour that works particularly well with pine-faced boards, pale softwood furniture and rustic or traditionally styled interiors. It can also be stained or finished to coordinate with surrounding furniture components.
What Does FSHM Mean?
FSHM refers to veneer that is Fleeced, Sanded and supplied with Hot-Melt adhesive.
The fleece helps support and stabilise the thin natural veneer during handling. The visible pine face is sanded smooth, while the reverse carries a factory-applied hot-melt adhesive.
Heat and firm pressure activate the adhesive, removing the need to apply a separate glue in normal compatible applications.

Why Choose 25mm Edging?
The 25mm width provides more working allowance than standard narrow veneer edging. This is useful where the panel edge varies slightly in thickness or where additional material is preferred for accurate trimming.
Once the adhesive has cooled, the excess veneer can be trimmed flush with both faces of the board to create a clean and consistent edge.
Application Guidance
Prepare a straight, smooth, dry and stable panel edge. Remove all dust, grease, oil and loose fibres before positioning the veneer.
Cut the veneer slightly longer than the finished component. Position it with an even trimming allowance and activate the adhesive using a suitable edge-banding machine, veneer iron or controlled heat source.
Work progressively along the panel while applying consistent heat and firm pressure. Allow the adhesive to cool fully before trimming or finishing the veneer.
Application settings can vary according to the equipment, substrate and working conditions. Always produce a test piece before starting a complete production run.
Trimming and Finishing Pine Veneer
Trim the excess material using a sharp veneer trimmer or suitable cutting tool. Pine is a comparatively soft timber, so use sharp tools and avoid excessive pressure that could bruise or tear the surface.
The veneer can be lightly sanded and finished with a compatible lacquer, oil, wax, clear coat or wood stain. A clear finish will normally warm the natural colour and emphasise the grain.
Pine can absorb some stains unevenly, so always test the complete finishing system on an offcut first. Where appropriate, use a compatible sanding sealer or wood conditioner recommended by the finish manufacturer.
Natural Wood Variation
Pine is a genuine natural material. Grain pattern, colour, growth markings and other features will vary between sections and production batches. These variations are normal and contribute to the authentic appearance of the finished furniture.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this made from real pine?
Yes. The visible surface is genuine natural pine veneer rather than a printed wood-effect material.
Does it already have adhesive applied?
Yes. It has a factory-applied hot-melt adhesive that is activated using controlled heat and pressure.
Is this veneer unglued?
No. This is the pre-glued FSHM version. An unglued product would normally be described as FS veneer.
Can it be applied with an iron?
A suitable veneer iron or controlled heat source can be used. An edge-banding machine may give more consistent results during production work.
Can the pine veneer be stained?
Yes, but pine can sometimes absorb stain unevenly. Test the stain and any recommended conditioner or sealer on an offcut first.
What size roll will I receive?
