Steamed Beech Flexible Wood Veneer FSHM 25mm x 100m is a genuine wood veneer edging roll with a pre-applied heat-activated adhesive, designed for furniture manufacture, cabinet edging, joinery finishing and repair work.

The steaming process gives the beech a warmer and more uniform pinkish-brown tone than standard white beech while retaining the fine, close grain and smooth appearance associated with the species. It is particularly suitable for cabinetry, fitted furniture and interior joinery where a clean, consistent timber finish is required.

The pre-glued backing allows the veneer to be bonded using suitable edge-banding equipment or controlled heat and pressure, removing the need to apply a separate adhesive. This helps speed up installation and provides a neat, professional finish.

At 25mm wide, the veneer is suitable for covering common furniture-board edges, cabinet components, shelf edges, drawer fronts, doors and decorative trims. The 100m roll is ideal for regular workshop use, production work and larger refurbishment projects.

Application Guidance

Ensure the board edge is clean, dry, smooth and free from dust, grease and loose material.

Position the veneer carefully and activate the adhesive using suitable edge-banding equipment or a controlled heat source. Apply firm, even pressure while the adhesive is warm to ensure full contact across the complete width.

Allow the adhesive to cool before trimming the excess veneer. Lightly sand the edges as required and test any stain, lacquer, oil or other finish on an offcut before treating the completed surface.
