PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

White Oak Flexible Wood Veneer FS Unglued 50mm × 300m is a genuine real-wood edging roll designed for high-volume production workshops and furniture manufacturers requiring a wide, long-run supply of unglued Oak veneer edging.

The veneer is fleeced and sanded but supplied without a factory-applied adhesive, giving workshops complete control over the bonding method and adhesive choice to suit their substrate, machinery and production process.

White Oak offers a pale, clean tone with a fine, straight grain — a lighter and more contemporary alternative to traditional European Oak, well suited to modern cabinetry, Scandinavian-style furniture and neutral interior schemes. The 50mm width provides generous coverage for wider panels, door edges, worktop details and components where standard narrow edging is insufficient. The 300m roll minimises changeovers in production environments.

What Does FS Mean?

FS means Fleeced and Sanded. A supporting fleece improves the veneer’s flexibility and stability, while the natural White Oak face is sanded to provide a smooth surface for finishing. Unlike FSHM veneer, this FS product has no hot-melt adhesive — a compatible adhesive must be selected and applied separately.

Application Guidance

Prepare a straight, clean, dry and stable panel edge. Select a compatible adhesive for the veneer, substrate and intended conditions. Apply firm, consistent pressure across the complete width and length. Allow the bond to develop fully before trimming. Always test on an offcut before beginning a production run.

Natural Wood Variation

White Oak is a natural material, so colour, grain and markings will vary between rolls and batches. These variations are normal and contribute to an authentic timber appearance.

Storage and Handling

Store the roll in a clean, dry and stable environment, protected from direct sunlight, moisture, excessive heat and rapid humidity changes. Keep the veneer supported and protect its edges from crushing or damage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this edging made from real White Oak?

Yes. The visible surface is genuine natural White Oak veneer.

Does this veneer have adhesive on the back?

No. It is an unglued FS veneer. A compatible adhesive must be selected and applied separately.

Why choose 50mm width?

The 50mm width covers deeper furniture components, broad edges and repair areas that cannot be finished with standard narrow edge banding.

What is the advantage of the 300m roll?

The long roll reduces changeover frequency in production environments, improving efficiency and reducing waste.

Can the White Oak veneer be stained or finished?

Yes. It accepts compatible lacquers, oils, waxes and stains. Always test the selected finish on an offcut first.
