The Blum 71B3790 CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge is designed for inset cabinet doors that close inside the cabinet opening rather than covering the front edge of the cabinet sides. Its cranked hinge arm positions the door accurately within the cabinet while allowing a practical 110° opening angle.

The premium Onyx Black finish coordinates particularly well with dark doors, black mounting plates and contemporary cabinet interiors. It provides a discreet, coordinated appearance when the hinge becomes visible with the door open.

BLUMOTION soft closing is integrated directly into the hinge cup, delivering smooth and controlled door movement without requiring a separate damper. The damping function can be deactivated on individual hinges when less resistance is required for smaller or lighter doors.

Tool-free INSERTA installation

Prepare a 35mm hinge-cup hole to a depth of 13mm together with two 8mm fixing holes positioned on 45mm centres. Position the hinge cup in the prepared drilling and operate its built-in locking lever. The integrated expanding dowels secure the hinge without separate screws or insertion machinery.

Mounting plate required

HIO71B3790 is supplied as one hinge. A compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate must be purchased separately. The mounting-plate position and height must be selected to suit the inset application, door thickness and required door clearances.
