Blum 71T9650 CLIP Top 95° Half-Overlay Profile and Thick Door Hinge

The Blum 71T9650 CLIP top hinge is designed for dual or half-overlay cabinet applications using thick doors, shaped fronts or doors with profiled and moulded edges. A half-overlay hinge is generally used where two cabinet doors share the same central partition, with each door covering part of the cabinet side.

Its specialised profile-door geometry and controlled 95° opening angle provide additional clearance for thicker doors and decorative edge profiles. This helps prevent the door edge from binding against the cabinet or interfering with the adjoining door during opening.

The 71T9650 has a sprung, self-closing action that pulls the door towards the closed position. It does not contain integrated BLUMOTION, but a suitable separate Blum soft-close solution may be added when dampened closing is required.

Screw-on fitting with tool-free CLIP assembly

The hinge cup is secured to the back of the cabinet door using screws, providing a dependable mechanical fixing for workshop production, replacement work and bespoke furniture. Once the hinge is attached to the door, the hinge arm connects to a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate without tools.

The CLIP connection allows the cabinet door to be installed, removed and refitted without disturbing the mounting plate. Three-dimensional adjustment makes it easier to achieve consistent gaps between adjacent doors and accurate alignment with the cabinet.
