Blum 71B9550 CLIP top BLUMOTION 95° Overlay Hinge

The Blum 71B9550 is a nickel-plated, sprung overlay hinge for compatible thick or profiled cabinet fronts. Its straight arm positions the closed door over the cabinet side and its 95° opening suits installations where a wider opening is not needed. Integrated BLUMOTION provides controlled soft closing and can be deactivated on an individual hinge when less damping is required.

Plan the door and cup fixing

This version has a conventional screw-on 35 mm cup, secured into a correctly prepared door with suitable screws. It is not the shaped boss used for a narrow aluminium-profile frame, nor the INSERTA version. The arm clips onto a separately purchased Blum CLIP mounting plate without tools. Check the actual front thickness and edge profile, cup drilling distance, plate height, overlay and opening clearance before drilling; a trial installation is sensible for profiled fronts.
